Rush Fees
To accommodate last-minute orders or additions, Arcadia Script will charge a rush Fee in certain circumstances.
The rush fee ranges from 25% -100% of the total amount of the order, depending on the nature of the request. Arcadia Script will apply a rush fee to the final invoice in the following scenarios:
1. If the client wishes to book Arcadia Script’’s services one week or less before the final artwork is required.
2. If the client does not supply Arcadia Script with the necessary information to complete their project until one week or less before the final artwork is required.
3. If the client adds an additional project that was not previously agreed upon one week or less before the final artwork is required.
Materials
If a client requests material to be sourced by Arcadia Script the final bill will include this time and be billed at an hourly rate.
If providing materials or the client have requested Arcadia Script to source and purchase the materials, 20% extra materials will need to be factored in due to the nature of calligraphy.
If materials are being provided by the client they need to ensure they are acceptable for calligraphy, it must be approved by Arcadia Script that they are suitable for calligraphy. (For example, clients should refrain from purchasing a bulk order of envelopes until one envelope has been tested, to ensure the paper is a suitable weight/not overly textured/etc). If a different material is provided than that agreed, this can impact the original quote and will be billed for time spent testing the compatibility even if the commission does not get completed.
Travel & On-Site Calligraphy
